The Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber was proud to once again help welcome area teachers as they kicked off a new school year.
With generous donations from Chamber members, the Chamber assembled Welcome Back Teacher bags filled with items for teachers to receive during their orientation sessions. Teachers were also welcomed with a traditional back-to-school apple and the opportunity to win door prizes donated by local businesses and organizations.
This annual effort is a simple but meaningful way to connect our business and education communities and show appreciation for the educators who make a difference for our students, families and region.
